How a Seed Grows

Another example of a written explanation. We watched time-lapse videos on YouTube, then brainstormed what time sequence words to start sentences with, as well as what specific vocabulary we could include. Here is Ruby's amazing effort.

How a Seed Grows

A seed is a plant that can grow.

First the roots from the plant come down. Then very carefully the seed breaks a little bit. After that some of the leaves shoot upwards. Next the leaves open more and makes lots of leaves. Finally the leaves are up and it is in the sunlight.

That is how a seed grows into a plant.
